We are looking for a skilled waiter to join the team at a restaurant in Porvoo. The menu is an adventure in Mexico and Eastern Europe and feel the breath of the Mediterranean and the Alps. Fresh ingredients and pure flavors are at the core of each dish. The open kitchen and its Bertha charcoal oven are the heart of the restaurant. The different organic home-baked sourdough breads, homemade organic pasta and ice creams are addictive. All the food in the restaurant is lactose-free and different diets are well catered for. The gluten-free bread is also homemade. Coffee and tea are fair trade and organic and the restaurant itself is a certified organic restaurant. A good meal is best accompanied by carefully selected organic wines, quality beers or tasty non-alcoholic beverages. Requirements: - Basic knowledge in food and wine, and a strong interest towards them - Excellent spoken English – Finnish a bonus, Swedish a double bonus - Barista experience - Happy and positive attitude - Work experience as an a la carte Waiter or Waitress minimum 3-5 years - Active listening and effective communication skills - A desire to help people - Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment - Team spirit.
