We are looking for a head chef for Utö archipelago.
Utö is a place where you can experience the rugged beauty and tranquility of the archipelago, while also offering the opportunity to create unforgettable customer experiences together with a skilled team. The island is accessible year-round by a free ferry, m/s Utö, which departs from Pärnäinen in Nauvo with a bus connection from Turku. The schedule is synchronized with the ferry’s departure. On Utö Island, you will find a shop, a school, and even Finland’s oldest lighthouse!
Utö Havshotelli is Finland’s southernmost sea hotel, featuring a 120-seat restaurant in the main building, Kasarmi, where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served. More information about the hotel here.

We are looking for a head chef for Utö Havshotelli for the upcoming summer season of 2025. The season starts on March 28, 2025, and ends at the end of November. The head chef position can also be converted into a permanent role.
We hope from you:
- Strong experience in chef duties
- Experience in kitchen management roles
- Proficiency in Finnish and English; Swedish language skills are an advantage
- Enthusiasm, motivation, and an independent approach to work
- Flexibility and the ability to handle pressure
- Good leadership skills
- A valid hygiene passport
