We are looking for a chef for the picturesque B&B restaurant Kuulas!

The story of Kuulas began over a hundred years ago, when the main building of the former Tammisto farm was constructed and apple trees were planted in the garden. A beautiful, 50-seat terrace was built on the southern side of the house next to the apple orchard in the spring of 2021. The heart of our terrace restaurant is the charcoal grill, where we prepare relaxed but high-quality food using local ingredients. Under the apple tree, you can spread a rug and sit down to enjoy, for example, Katri Tätilä’s Coffee Buffet treats, a high-quality cocktail, or indulge in the famous picnic that you can order in advance. From the speakers, you’ll hear old Finnish swing music from the ’40s and ’60s, the scents of the charcoal grill waft through the air, and sheep grazing by the garden fence beg for petting. We focus on carefully selected, experiential products in everything we do, whether it’s the restaurant chair, coffee cup, or background music. Here, the details create a whole that you won’t find anywhere else. If it rains, we also have beautiful, atmospheric indoor spaces in the 100-year-old mansion halls.

We are looking for a chef for the summer to prepare high-quality food using local ingredients, including grilling on a charcoal grill in an outdoor kitchen. This is a full-time job that starts in May and lasts until the end of August.

• Experience in cooking

• English language skills (Finnish is a plus)
• Passion for preparing high-quality food
